OUTSOURCING

Yesterday on the 1st of May I happened to hear OUTSOURCING theme in celebration of Labor Day, my fellow workers demanded the abolition of outsourcing in his oration.
quite a long time since the enactment of laws on OUTSOURCING, this should be a material that has been stale for debate.
if outsourcing to public welfare, then it should have happened.
if outsourcing hardship on the community, then the first should have been excluded from or never even existed.

Public research institute, Sabang-Merauke Circle (SMC) proposes the removal of the enforcement mechanisms of energy transfer (outsourcing) in the employment system can be done by Presidential Decree to follow up the decision of the Constitutional Court.
"The practice of 'outsourcing' clearly inhumane and undermine the existence of labor or workers, but does not guarantee future at the same time ignoring the basic rights to decent living," said Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMC Syahganda Nainggolan on Tuesday, warning related to the International Labor Day May 1 .
He said the government should immediately follow the decision of the Constitutional Court January 17, 2012 on the elimination of "outsourcing" or a system of contract labor for the workers / employees through Presidential Decree (Presidential Decree).
Constitutional Court ruling set the imposition of "outsourcing contrary to the Act of 1945 section 27 subsection (2), which states that every citizen has equal rights to get a decent job.(www.antaranews.com/berita/308675/smc-penghapusan-outsourcing-bisa-dengan-perpres)

The Government recognizes the outsourcing has made workers miserable.
It is said Minister of Manpower and Transmigration (minister) Muhaimin Iskandar encountered after the Postal Workers Union National Workshop on Implementation of Ideal Basic Salary, in Jakarta, Monday (30/4).
He acknowledged that outsourcing had affected workers. "But the economic laws are sometimes beyond our grasp," said Muhaimin.
Muhaimin argues that the labor system is the ideal that does not include outsourcing systems in it. Therefore, Manpower will strengthen surveillance systems for outsourcing (www.mediaindonesia.com/read/2012/04/30/316530/4/2/Muhaimin-Akui-Sistem-Outsourcing-Buat-Buruh-Sengsara)

Outsourcing Survey
To get a complete and objective information before making a decision to outsource, it helps you explore data about outsourcing are widely available on the internet. Various international organizations have published the results of their survey of outsourcing on their website. To maintain objectivity, the data will be discussed are the results of a survey by Ernst & Young, an accounting firm and an international professional services based in London.
In 2008, Ernst & Young conducted a survey to see a picture of the trend of outsourcing in Europe involving 600 people with decision makers at large European companies.
The survey results showed that 7 out of 10 companies in Europe have shifted at least one function of their business.

Outsourcing by country

The main focus of outsourcing is a business support functions to the functions of care (maintenance) in the first position with a value of 76%, while the human resource function occupies the fourth position.
Important functions that relate directly to customers the company occupies the last position, namely product development / manufacturing and sales / marketing / communications. This illustrates that the majority of companies still have not been able to shift important functions of the company's advantage to be handled by other companies.

Outsourcing by function

Cost savings and increased productivity to be the main reason of the decision to outsource, that is equal to 49%.

 Benefits Outsourcing
Issues relating to staff the greatest obstacle (12%) in the early implementation of outsourcing. As in the previous explanation, it is likely to occur due to lack of good strategies and ways of communicating the plan to employees so that the emerging outsourcing of employee resistance. One reason is because of concerns the company's employees will be laid off because their position is threatened replaced by outsourced employees. outsourcing generates huge profits for the company, but what about the workers?
